NCSU WolfAlert – Crime Warning
At approximately 12:00 AM, on 10-29-2020, The University Police department was notified of shots being fired near the area of Western Manor Apartments on Avent Ferry Road. As officers arrived on scene and began to investigate, it was determined that the shots originated from the area of the Burger King located at the intersection of Avent Ferry Rd. and Centennial Parkway. One resident of Western Manor Apartments has reported that their apartment sustained damage due to one bullet going through their window.
The campus community is always encouraged to take the following steps to keep themselves safe:
– If you feel unsafe in any situation, trust your instinct and contact University Police immediately to report suspicious activities or crimes on campus by calling 911 or 919-515-3000
