The University Police has received reports of several vehicles being broken into and items taken at locations around and adjacent to campus. The biggest concentration appears to be along Varsity Dr. and Avent Ferry Rd. with the crimes occurring overnight. There is no suspect information available at this time.
The campus community is always encouraged to take the following steps to keep themselves safe:
– Roll up vehicle windows
– Close & lock doors and trunks
– Take or hide valuables
– If you feel unsafe in any situation, trust your instinct and contact University Police immediately to report suspicious activities or crimes on campus by calling 911 or 919-515-3000.
