SPECIAL EVENTS REQUEST AND CONSULTATION
NC State University Police officers, fire marshals, and support staff are a smart addition to your gathering. If you wish to request police officers or fire marshals for your event, please complete the following application at least three weeks prior to the event. Applications can also be obtained from Sgt. Brian Wiggs at 919-513-0384.
Your organization will be charged the current hourly rate for each officer that is requested. At present, Police officers are billed at a rate of $43 – $52 per hour and fire marshals are billed at a rate of $42 – $52 per hour. Police officers and fire marshals must be requested for a minimum of 3 hours.
Note: 24 hour notification of event cancellation or delay in start time is required or your organization will be billed a minimum of 3 hours of work for each officer requested. To report event cancellation or time changes at any time call 919-515-3000.
