The NC State University Police Department is a dedicated and diverse group of professionals who are committed to working together with and as part of the community to make NC State a safe and desirable place to live, work, learn and visit. 

 

OFFICE OF THE CHIEF OF POLICE

The Office of the Chief of Police consists of the Chiefs Administrative Staff, Office of Professional Standards and Clery Compliance.

 

FIELD OPERATIONS DIVISION

The Field Operations Division consists of Uniformed Patrol, Criminal Investigations and the Threat Assessment Unit

 

SUPPORT SERVICES DIVISION

The Support Services Division consists of Hiring & Recruitment, Law Enforcement Training, The Crime Prevention Unit, and the Special Events & Emergency Management Unit.

 

ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES DIVISION

The Administrative Services Division personnel provide a host of critical services and functions that support police operations and others across the university.  The Division is made up of Clery Compliance, Professional Standards, IT & Records, Emergency Communications Center, Property & Evidence, and Fleet Management.
